Following sustained attacks on Football Kenya Federation by the Daily Nation, based on unre-searched, baseless and unfounded opinion disguised as a bare-it-all expose, below are incontrovertible facts to the contrary. It is our opinion as FKF that there is a move to destabilize the federation despite the tremendous progress made in two years.
Below are the FACTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS of the federation in two years since we were elected into office.
Kenya will host the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN), the Confederation of African Football has confirmed.
This follows a meeting of the CAF Executive committee under the leadership of President, Issa Hayatou, at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt last Friday.
The CHAN tournament, which features footballers plying their trade in the domestic leagues, would arguably be the biggest football event Kenya would have hosted.Kenya was initially scheduled to host the CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 1996 but lost the rights owing to inadequate preparations.
